6/17/13 - 29 Weeks; Settling in Evansville

Oops ... its been almost a month since my last post! Coming to Evansville has been such a whirlwind - we have been crazy busy!
This is our fourth week here and we haven't spent an entire weekend here yet... Was home (briefly) for Mother's Day weekend, went to Cincinnati for a shower another, and last weekend we took a one night trip back to Knoxville to get the rest of our stuff. Danny and I are both looking forward to having this weekend to stay in our new home with no plans. :) And it will be his first Father's Day too, so I'm super excited to have the time and kitchen space to cook him his first special Father's Day meal. During the weeks have been pretty chaotic around her as well with finding and meeting new doctors and settling in at the apartment. This week, we had the blessing of having Danny's mom stay here with us all week since Tom (father-in-law) has had some work to do at a main office an hour north of here. Joyce has been a HUGE help to me in setting up our apartment - what a blessing!

As far as baby updates go ... baby girl is now SUPER active at 29 weeks and you can even see a lot of her movements just by watching my belly. That is really fun for Danny especially, I think. :) Also,we got her crib, the mattress, and a pretty sheet in the mail as a gift from Danny's parents, so we were able to get that set up. This has been sooooo exciting!! Seeing the crib and all the fun things we got at the shower getting set up in her room makes everything seem so real and soon which causes mixed feelings at this point... excitement and anxiety haha!

I am definitely looking forward to the next few weeks - especially my next shower coming up!
