a two part post - month one and then month two. I'll keep it short though!
One Month!!
We've had lots of "firsts" during Stella's first 30 days here. She's had her first doctor's visit, first bath, first outing, first time to church and on and on. So today I won't ramble as much as normal. Instead I'll let the pictures do the talking. :)

First trip out of the house after coming home. 8/19/2013 We had to take her to the lab at the hospital to have her bilirubin count checked. She's still a little jaundice in this picture.

Two weeks
Month Two!!
Stella's second month was one filled with lots of excitement. She took two road trips - and was SO GOOD. Her very first road trip was to my hometown, Knoxville. We stayed with my parents so she got lots of granddaddy and grandmama time. One afternoon we took her downtown to my old work place and she met some old friends - big day! :)
The very next weekend was our good friends, Cory and Daniel's wedding in Memphis, TN! Woot, woot! I was super nervous about everything - how she'd do at the actual wedding, how she'd sleep, how she'd handle all the different people, etc, etc, etc! Little miss thing did soooo good. I was proud. She was passed around and didn't cry and she slept the longest she's ever slept one of the nights in the hotel - hours! It was great. :)
Here are some quick facts about sweet Stella: (from her 2 month checkup)
Weight: 11lbs, 4oz
Length: ok, so I'm really mad because I can't find where the nurse wrote it down :( but she is LONG - she's in the 79th percentile for length/height
Favorite thing (besides being held lol): Outside! She loves it! Also, she enjoys her swing/rocker quite a bit lately.
Dislikes: Tummy time :( I try for a few minutes a couple times a day, but she does NOT like it haha
Sleeping: around 5.5-6 hours at night with several naps throughout the day
Eating: I've had a hard time nursing so have been mostly pumping recently - she is eating from 4-5 oz every 3-4 hours.
Overall, I think Stella is doing so good and Danny and I are too. :) Here are some pictures from this month.
This cozy little outfit was a gift from our sweet friend, Heather... thanks again, girl! We love it!
And... that didn't last long. I told ya! She does NOT like tummy time haha.
Happy fall, ya'll!!
That little stool with her name on it is one of the most unique gifts Stella has received. The letters come out like a block puzzle - SO CUTE! Thanks to our dear friends Bill and Grace for that.
A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to have Great Uncle Mike and Great Aunt Donna come with the girls to meet Stella. Zilphia and Katera (Danny's cousins) LOVED Stella. It was super precious!
Look at this sweet face!!
And this little thang :)
Isn't she lovely?!
